With tens of miles to cover and so much to capture, the Blacksail team had to split up and strategize to ensure they could capture every angle of the event. Neo took on the task of capturing specific corners and the finish line with a long lens from the tallest point of a grandstand, while Krispy focused on capturing the overall audience energy and fan interactions. Sam was in charge of special media access to track locations and the pits, and Nick focused on behind-the-scenes footage and creative gimbal shots.

The energy at Daytona during the Rolex 24 was electric. Fun support races and multiple camping locations within the middle of the track added to the excitement. RVs lined the track, with many having roof decks for a prime view of the race. People set up tables with slot car racing and were just so excited to be there. The Blacksail team captured it all, providing viewers with a glimpse into the incredible atmosphere of the event.
Lexus Racing Takes the Podium
In the end, Lexus Racing was able to pull out a 3rd place podium finish in the GTD Pro class, scoring crucial points to start the season off. The team battled hard, and Blacksail was there to capture every moment of their effort. The team's footage and edits even played at the Toyota entrance on the building at Daytona 24, a testament to their hard work and dedication.
